Greater Vancouver is our core portfolio. The team managing your home works across Vancouver every day.
Fairview sits between False Creek and 16th Avenue, from Burrard Street to Cambie. It is a condo neighbourhood: older wood-frame low-rises off Broadway, townhomes and low-rise strata on the Fairview Slopes, and waterfront homes in False Creek South.
Vancouver General Hospital and BC Cancer anchor the middle of the neighbourhood, with clinics and medical offices along Broadway and 10th Avenue. The Broadway corridor is also one of the region’s biggest office districts.
Most renters here work nearby, or need to be near the hospital for a while. That makes Fairview a natural fit for furnished 90-day stays.
In Vancouver, one rule decides most of this: nightly stays (under 90 days) are only allowed in a principal residence. Any other home can still be rented furnished for 90 days or more, or long term.
The licence, principal-residence, tax, and strata rules are the same across the city: Vancouver rules, in plain language.
Vancouver General Hospital is at West 12th Avenue and Oak Street, and BC Cancer’s Vancouver centre is next to it on West 10th Avenue. Patients, caregivers, and travelling healthcare staff often need a furnished home within walking distance for a set number of months. We furnish for that kind of stay, with a quiet, practical setup and an in-house reset between guests.

The Broadway Subway extends the Millennium Line from VCC-Clark Station to Arbutus Street, and is scheduled to open in 2027. South Granville Station is at Broadway and Granville, Oak-VGH Station at Broadway and Laurel, and Broadway-City Hall Station at Broadway and Cambie, with an underground link to the Canada Line.
The Province describes the Broadway corridor as B.C.’s second-largest jobs centre.

Much of Fairview’s strata stock is older wood-frame construction. Since July 1, 2024, strata corporations with five or more lots must get a depreciation report every five years, and the option to defer it by vote has been removed. In Metro Vancouver, a strata with no report, or one older than 2021, had until July 1, 2026 to get one.
We ask for the latest report, the bylaws, and any planned work before we list, so a building envelope project or a special levy does not catch you or your renter off guard.

The City of Vancouver owns most of the land in False Creek South. When the neighbourhood was built in the 1970s and 1980s, much of it was leased on 60-year ground leases, and most of those leases expire between 2036 and 2046. If you own a leasehold strata unit here, we read the lease terms alongside the strata bylaws before recommending a rental length.
