About this home
A quiet, forest-lined retreat above Howe Sound, minutes from the ocean and its cafes and museum. Fall asleep beneath a wall of infinity glass with mountain views from bed, and wake to a running creek just outside the door. A private trail leads to freshwater pools and a known canyoning route through the rock. Two separate decks catch sunrise and sunset over a 180-degree panoramic view. This home has also hosted major film production, including a scene from Marvel's Deadpool.
- Stargaze from bed through a wall of infinity glass
- Soak in a freestanding tub set right at a forest-view window
- A rec room with an in-ground trampoline, foam pit, and full martial arts setup
- Aerial yoga swing and suspension trainer rigged from the great room's steel beams
- A chef's kitchen with a Wolf range, Sub-Zero fridge, and a stocked walk-in pantry
- Canyoning on Britannia Creek, once-in-a-lifetime, steps away
- Sunrise deck, sunset deck, plus a private trail to the creek's freshwater pools
- The house that filmed Deadpool
- Three bedrooms, three distinct personalities, all with panoramic views
- Driveway parking for 4+ vehicles — boats welcome
This forest-lined property sits just minutes from the ocean, quiet enough to actually rest and recharge, with the Britannia Mine Museum and Britannia's Village five minutes away by car for food, coffee, and culture.
A running creek sets the tone below the house, with forest trails starting right at the door. A private path leads to the creek's freshwater pools, rarely used by anyone else, and this same stretch of Britannia Creek is a known canyoning route for guests chasing something more adventurous.
Inside, big windows and an open-concept layout bring a 180-degree panoramic view of trees, mountains, and ocean into every room. Two separate decks split the day — sunrise coffee on one, sunset on the other — and the primary bedroom's wall of infinity glass turns falling asleep into a stargazing experience.
The property carries real film history: one of Marvel's most memorable opening sequences, from Deadpool, was shot right here, and the attached studio has also hosted Tron's biggest action sequences and wire work training for the leads of Avatar: The Last Airbender and Percy Jackson. The rec room continues that legacy with a full-size foam pit and trampoline that visiting kids remember for years.
Every season here has something to offer — mushroom foraging in fall, water sports and hiking in summer, skiing and snowshoeing in winter with Whistler Blackcomb nearby, and hiking or horseback riding in spring. What ties it all together is the quiet: enough to feel like a real reset, whether the stay is a few days or a month.
